From August 2004 through March 2005, Indian Trail accounted for 25% of all of the building permit activity in Union County.  All the other towns combined accounted for only 28% whereas the county had the other 45% of the building permits.  Click Read Complete Article for the April 19th E-J article on this.

May 10th, 2005 Indian Trail approves a new 504 home neighborhood off Poplin Road (near the new Porter Ridge campus).  Much of this new development borders or is part of a flood plain.  Are we creating new problems?
Union County Faced with a $.20 tax hike - a 40% increase by 2010.  How much of this increase can be attributed to the uncontrolled growth in Indian Trail?  The following two headlines appeared in the April 9th Enquirer-Journal.
